Pricing & Adjustments

Listed and quoted prices are based on costs in effect on the quote date. Manufacturer price changes, tariffs, duties, exchange-rate fluctuations, freight surcharges, or other import-related costs may result in a price adjustment before delivery. We will communicate any material adjustment for approval before finalizing the order.

Reeds & Returns

Because reeds are personal and handmade, all reed and product sales are final. We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges. If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging so we can make it right. If you are unsure which reed or product to purchase, please contact us before ordering—we’re happy to help.

Happiness Guarantee

  • More than satisfaction, all reeds and reed blanks are backed against defects in materials and workmanship for 90 days from the original date of purchase.

  • Please try your reed order promptly, within 24 hours of purchase/delivery. If, in the unlikely event, a reed or reed blank does not meet your performance needs, follow up directly within 48 hours of purchase/delivery.

Reed Adjustment & High Altitude

  • Reed Adjustment: I make a lot of reeds for many players, and the best reed for you is the one you make or adjust for yourself. All reeds will need some personal adjustment over time. If you have any questions about your reed order, reed adjustment, or reed making, contact us!

  • High Altitude: I make reeds for you, too! For players in the high plains of New Mexico, Wyoming, and Colorado, please understand you may need to make some adjustments as reed making and reed finishing occur around sea level (300’) here in San Diego. For high-altitude and desert performers, I highly recommend using a humidity-controlled reed case. Feel free to follow up with any additional questions!

Order Shipping & Processing

  • Orders are usually processed and shipped within 1 to 3 business days; however, they may take up to 2 to 3 weeks, or 14 to 21 days.

  • Please understand that certain times of the year can become quite hectic, and I will do my best to fulfill your order requests on time.

Rush Delivery & International Orders

  • International orders may incur additional postage charges. Please consult http://postcalc.usps.com/ for current rates and costs.

  • Rush delivery is not available for any order. All orders will be processed via USPS Ground Advantage, and a tracking number is available via USPS, though not always.
